What is the referral process?
To see Dr Prasad, you will need a valid referral from your GP or another specialist. Please contact the clinic on 07 3180 4462 to discuss further.
What should I bring to my appointment?
We look forward to meeting you and to ensure your appointment runs smoothly, we ask that you bring the following items:
- Your Medicare card
- A list of your current medications
- A smile
How long will my appointment take?
A new patient consultation is approximately 30 to 45 minutes. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to consultation.
Consultation fees?
We will advise you of the fees and the applicable Medicare rebates at the time of making your appointment.
To claim the Medicare rebate, a valid referral is required at the time of the appointment. GP referrals are valid for 12 months and specialist referrals are valid for 3 months.
When do I pay?
Payment is required in full at the end of the consultation. Medicare reimbursements will be processed at the same time and are usually in your bank account the next business day.
What if I cannot attend my appointment?
Please let us know as soon as possible so we have time to offer your appointment to another patient. A late cancellation or ‘no-show’ may attract a late cancellation fee.
