Dr Suvenesh Prasad

Sleep & Respiratory Physician MBBS, FRACP

Dr Suvenesh Prasad provides patients with specialist respiratory and sleep treatment with the highest level of quality of care.

He graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1997 from The University of the South Pacific. He then worked in Fiji as a junior doctor and moved to Australia in 2001.

Dr Prasad completed his specialist training at The Princess Alexandra Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. He was accepted as a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2010.

Ongoing medical education is a priority for Dr Prasad. He takes part in the MY CPD program with RACP and holds professional memberships with RACP, Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, and The Australasian Sleep Association.

Dr Prasad is actively involved in teaching the next generation of doctors and specialists and holds a Senior Lecturer position with the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He also conducts regular GP talks and is a past examiner for the RACP Clinical Examination.

Outside of work Dr Prasad is a self-confessed sport and fishing tragic.

Practice Manager

Cristin is an experienced practice manager, having worked with a number of busy general practices and specialists for several years. Ensuring the practice is well organised and compliant, Cristin’s compassion is also key to her success: it is how she makes patients feel about their experience that is as important as their clinical care.

She has assisted Dr Suvenesh Prasad at Respiratory and Sleep Doctor to ensure it remains highly regarded by patients and the gold standard in clinical care for Respiratory and Sleep conditions. Currently undertaking an MBA, Cristin has also studied with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, specialising in practice management.

When not at work or studying, Cristin enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons exploring the outdoors from skiing to the beach.
